Probably not.... yesterday I received a card from The Dragonfly Project. It was sent to the church where my 23 year old daughter's funeral was in December. I have no idea how long it was there, but it got passed along and reached me yesterday. I was very touched by the card, story and keychain, and the project itself. I had never heard of it. I went on the website last night and began to notice some things. The day of the ABC News article, November 12th was her birthday. The day this was posted, December 1st, 2008, was the day she was killed instantly in a car crash. We are coming up on 6 months with out her, I miss her so much. We're all struggling these days, grieving, getting thru the days, trying to live, etc. We just had a couple of tough days, a ceremony at our local hospital's 'Healing Garden' where there is a brick in her memory. And Thursday we were in Minneapolis at a ceremony to receive a medal in honor of her organ donations, its been an emotional roller coaster.......and Friday, the Dragonfly showed up! Thank you! I truly believe that Heaven is not far away, she is still with us, we just don't get to see her. And the Dragonfly tells it all! Love you and miss you so much, Crystal.... Coincidence?
